Staff Picks - Week 13

And don’t come back without some points, we’re all saying!

Out of 77 total picks this week, 19 have been slated as victories in favor of the traveling team, and another 22 picks are draws, over half the picks expected to deny the home team their rewards. Houston, D.C., New England, and Los Angeles are the only away teams not expected to come home with a win (Houston without a point at all)!

Beyond the one sided affairs we are expecting, this weekend promises a couple rivalries worthy of discussion. Seattle hosts the Portland Timbers, with Dustyn putting faith in the visitors for their first meeting this season. Meanwhile, Toronto and Columbus clash for the third time already this year, with our resident Canadian, Rob, expecting the Reds to falter after such a long and successful seven game unbeaten run. The California Clasico never fails to entertain, but as mentioned previously, we still expect San Jose to edge out the win in only the way they know how. And finally, all of us here in the TMLS studios (we have one of those, right?) believe FC Dallas will push ahead in their quest to reclaim El Capitan for 2017.
