Staff Picks - Week 2

One week in the books, and our team could not be any prouder of ourselves.

We might just retire early.

Of the staff members that participated, a hefty chunk correctly guessed 50% or more of last week’s picks! Week 1 is typically the hardest as no one - including all the experts - are truly sure of how well prepared a team is for the season. Dustyn did especially well last week, correctly predicting seven of the week’s eleven matches.

This week, however, may prove more challenging. The defensively stingy Colorado Rapids head to Harrison to face the New York Red Bulls, a team known for dominating in their own home. Seattle, who kicked off the season with a loss, will now have to travel to Montreal and face the formidable Impact. Let us not forget either, the very first meeting of the expansion teams in Minnesota, two Uniteds most definitely divided in a contest no one will want to miss.

This week’s picks, the group is feeding off the confidence Houston showed us last week with all but one in favor of the Dynamo. Same goes for Toronto, Dallas, and the Red Bulls respectively. Our biggest divides are in Montreal, San Jose, and New York City.

(REMINDER: The New England Revolution v Orlando City SC match has been postponed due to inclement weather. They have rescheduled the match, to be played on September 2nd.)
