English Premier League giants Arsenal FC are on their way to California for Thursday's MLS All Star Game. The roster has been announced for that game, and their game Saturday at the StubHub Center against Chivas Guadalajara.
Stars Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil, Aaron Ramsey, and Olivier Giroud are not making the trip. Sanchez spent the summer helping Chile win Copa America Centenario. Ozil, Ramsey, and Giroud are still recovering from lengthy appearances at the European Championships.
19 year old American Gedion Zelalem will be on the trip to California. Zelalem spent last season on loan with Rangers and is still trying to break in to the first team at Arsenal.
